Factory-Spec Fluid Service
The right fluid, to the right specification, for your European car: not whatever a quick-lube has on the shelf.
On a BMW, Mercedes, Porsche or Audi, fluids are not a commodity. The wrong oil viscosity, a coolant that is not on the approved list, or a transmission fill done by guesswork can cost you a timing chain, a head gasket, or a gearbox. The factory wrote a specification for a reason, and we follow it.
We service every fluid in your car to the manufacturer's exact requirement and we tell you the truth about what actually needs doing. Family-owned in Alexandria for 30 years, with the dealer-grade knowledge to back it up. Call us to book.
Oil changes to marque spec
The correct full-synthetic and viscosity for your engine, with an oil-spec approval the factory recognizes (for example the LL or MB-Approval ratings). On Mercedes we check the oil filter housing for the common gasket leak while we are in there.
Transmission service
Proper fluid and filter service on automatics and DSG/dual-clutch boxes, including the sealed 'lifetime' units that genuinely need a change. ZF-style 8-speeds and BMW autos last far longer when they are actually serviced.
Brake fluid flush
Brake fluid absorbs water and degrades. We do a full flush to the correct DOT spec, which protects pedal feel and your ABS and stability-control hardware. Recommended roughly every two years on most European cars.
Coolant service
Drain and refill with the manufacturer-approved coolant only. Mixing the wrong coolant chemistry causes corrosion and clogged passages, and on these engines that is an expensive mistake.
Power steering, differential and transfer case
Often forgotten and rarely cheap to ignore. We service power steering fluid, differential gear oil, and the transfer-case fluid on all-wheel-drive BMW, Audi, Mercedes and Land Rover models to keep them quiet and reliable.
An honest service plan
We tell you what your specific model and mileage actually need now, what can wait, and what the 'lifetime fluid' label is quietly costing you. No padded menus.
Signs it's time to come in
- Oil-change reminder or service light is on
- It has been over two years since your last brake fluid flush
- Gear changes feel harsh, slow, or are slipping
- Coolant looks dirty, rusty, or is low
- Power steering whines or the all-wheel drive feels notchy in tight turns
A general shop or quick-lube stocks one or two oils and treats every car the same. European engines do not allow that. A BMW that takes a specific long-life synthetic will suffer on a generic 5W-30, and the wrong coolant or a 'sealed' transmission left untouched is how these cars die early. We carry and use the exact approved fluids for each marque, we know which lifetime claims are marketing, and we have done it on these cars for 30 years. With the nearest comparable European specialist over 100 miles away, that knowledge is worth the local call.

Common questions
Does my 'lifetime' transmission really need a service?
Usually, yes. 'Lifetime' often means the warranty period, not the life of the car. Many sealed automatics and dual-clutch boxes last far longer with a proper fluid and filter service. Call us with your model and we will tell you straight.
Why not just use any synthetic oil?
Because European engines call for specific factory approvals, not just a viscosity number. The wrong oil can accelerate wear and, on some engines, contribute to timing chain and tensioner problems. We use the approved spec for your car, every time.
How often should I flush the brake fluid?
On most European cars, roughly every two years regardless of mileage. Brake fluid absorbs moisture over time, which lowers its boiling point and can corrode expensive ABS components. It is cheap insurance.
